The Inaugural River Road Rally
This is more than a Rally. It ‘s a Community.
Twenty-five teams gathered in Golden Valley. The morning air carrying that unmistakable blend of excitement and premium fuel that only a rally morning can bring. What began as a simple departure quickly felt like the opening chapter of an adventure. The convoy stretched out along quiet country roads, carving its way toward the Mississippi River valley and Pepin Wisconsin.
Lunch felt like a scene from the Italian countryside. Soft orchestral music drifted across vibrant green grass while rows of Ferrari’s rested like art sculptures. Plates of Italian-inspired meals arrived as drivers & guests paused to take in the moment — incredible food, stunning cars, and the calm beauty of the river valley creating a stop no one seemed eager to leave.
The afternoon brought some of Wisconsin’s most captivating roads, an endless rhythm of curves and elevation changes that kept every driver fully engaged. The convoy flowed south toward LaCrosse where the historic charm of The Charmant Hotel awaited. Guests were welcomed with a surprise — complimentary vehicle detailing, ensuring the cars that danced through the back roads all day returned to showroom perfection.
Evening arrived with elegance. Dinner was curated by a Michelin-starred Chef & his team. Each course arriving like a work of art as the violinists filled the room with music that elevated the atmosphere. Conversations lingered between courses, stories of the day’s drives were shared as new friends laughed amongst one another.
Just when the night felt complete, the rally revealed one more surprise.
A rooftop after-party awaited above the city. Guests stepped out to views of downtown LaCrosse, the soft glow of streetlights reflecting off the polished curves of their cars below. Music carried across the rooftop as drinks flowed freely and laughter echoed into the warm night air. The energy of the day had not faded — if anything, it had only evolved into celebration.
Morning brought renewed excitement as engines ignited to life for day two. The route turned west toward Rochester, unveiling some of Minnesota’s finest back roads, long sweeping corners, rolling hills, and stretches of pavement that seemed built for the spirit of performance driving offering a true experience of the Ferrari Legacy.
As the convoy approached the city, a police escort guided the rally through Rochester toward the waterfront setting of the Rochester Art Center. Ferrari’s lined the plaza as guests stepped into a scene that felt part automotive showcase, part celebration. Lunch was as entertaining as it was delicious. A live hibachi team performed just steps away from the cars, flames rising as chefs entertained the crowd while guests gathered along the water.
By the end of the weekend, the rally had become more than just a drive. It was a shared adventure — one told through winding roads, unforgettable meals, and the rare kind of moments that only happen when great people, incredible machines, and the open road come together.
